With a background in Photography spanning over 10 years, I am head over heels in love with this profession. My career began on a year abroad in sunny San Francisco where I got my first photography job(as a pet photographer!!), and has since come home with me to Ireland! I am a fine art graduate and I love bringing my artistic vision into every photo shoot I undertake. I’m a sucker for the little things that make life unique, and absolutely love detail detail detail!!!! (so you’ll often find me seeking out and photographing all the little moments of a wedding that come together to create the bigger picture of the day!)
At my core I am story teller, and it is the story of your special day that I want to tell. I shoot in a documentary style with a focus on capturing candid moments and real emotions. This allows me to unobtrusively capture your wedding day without interrupting it, and allows you to enjoy your day at your most relaxed with your family and friends.
When I’m not behind a camera lens (which is rare), you’ll most likely find me in the kitchen baking up a storm or out walking my little dog Eddie. I may also be frequently found in any random pocket of the world, as travel is in my blood and I jet off at the mere sight of a holiday bargain! Seriously…I’m addicted!

I’m married myself to my lovely husband Bren! And together we have two lovely rescue doggies Eddie and Dave who complete our family. We love adventuring and taking the dogs around the country to explore new places for walks and of course, pints! It's also a great excuse to check out new wedding venues and amazing locations for photos.
Getting married really changed my perspective on shooting weddings and gave me such an appreciation for how it feels to be in your shoes on a wedding day. I actually gave a on talk on the whole subject of “How shooting weddings changed for me after my own day ” at the Develop professional photographer conference in 2020.
It has given me such an understanding for all the different emotion you experience throughout your wedding day, and really helped me to focus in on the important elements of your wedding day, namely the people you love and the love you two share.

THE BEST decision we made for our wedding day was asking Aoife to be our photographer! We couldn't believe our luck when she said she was available. From our very first email we could sense Aoife's passion and professionalism. She was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and went above and beyond what we expected. Aoife was the photographer for our wedding at Mount Druid this summer and we had a wonderful experience working with her. She immediately understood our style and what we wanted; and she was amazingly unobtrusive (almost stealthy!) in taking photos throughout the day.The texture and colour of her images are stunning too.
