Best of 2018

2018 you have been a blast!

I have just come away from days of looking through each and every wedding from the last year. Oh how I didn't want it to end! 2018 has brought such an incredible community of people in to my life. Each and every couple I photographed now holds a place in my heart and will do forever more. The trust a couple puts in me to capture their day never ceases to blow me away and I am so honoured to be given the job of capturing people's most treasured memories!

2018 was full of deep belly laughs, hilarity, messers, crazy dance moves and so much happiness. I've walked out of rooms because I couldn't breath with laughter, I've come home countless times with a sore face from smiling, I've busted moves on so many dance floors and stayed late because I didn't want to leave. But 2018 was also full of quite moments. Moments with tears and of paying respects, of gentle touches and love....SO much love! I paid witness to some of the most moving ceremonies I've seen in my life this year. I've listened to speeches that made me break down (thank goodness for having a camera to hide my face!). I've cried so many happy tears...sometimes for obvious reasons but more often than not purely because I can see how much two people in front of me love each other, and how much everyone in that room loves them too.

So before we get to the photos, I just want to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to each and every couple that chose me to be their photographer over the last year. 2018 was the year we all got married (I promise to do a blog post on my own wedding soon!), where we all made memories that will last a life time and where so many dreams came true.

2019.....I'm ready for you with open arms!
